Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program (BH4NYC)
NYC Health + Hospitals offers
comprehensive, patient-centered behavioral health services including emergency
mental health services, mobile crisis services, substance use disorder
treatment and recovery, and both inpatient and outpatient treatment for mental
illness. We serve adults, adolescents, and children with serious, ongoing, and
co-occurring diagnoses. NYC Health + Hospitals is the largest provider of
behavioral health care in New York City, reaching communities in all five
boroughs and providing mobile services that bring care to communities with
limited access to resources. Mental and behavioral health services are
available across every NYC Health + Hospitals facility. We are committed to
providing high quality, fully-integrated care to patients regardless of their
insurance status or ability to pay.
With the leadership funding of a generous anonymous donor, NYC Health + Hospitals is strengthening its commitment to its behavioral health workforce. Recognizing that many behavioral health professionals are burdened by student loan debt, BH4NYC will provide grants to clinicians who meet the eligibility criteria. Your donations are helping us support our behavioral health staff and ensure the best mental health care and substance use disorder treatment for all New Yorkers.
